i mean i'll be real, "finn arguing interacting with grumpy old man 2.0" has been on my wishlist since the moment i realized the ST wasn't gonna bother letting them meet

so i'd love to throw him at luke on a meme or whatever, AU or canon-divergent or otherwise!

oh cool!!

i know force ghost shenanigans can be kind of a go-to but i've always had a soft spot for the concept of like. what if luke Didn't Die, Actually, lucasfilm, thank you but denied. a "this is the resistance's new hobo jedi and he's gonna work on his issues like everybody else" AU, the pinnacle of AUs

they could get in some post-crait hangtime, a lil course-correction. maybe some force stuff? i've been trying to pin down my finn + the force headcanons for exploring that bc it interests me a lot!

Ooh, I love that. I do think Finn is a bit more like Luke than Rey is, I mean in terms of "hey I'm suddenly in this thing what does this do?" rather than "oh hey I'm gonna CRUSH IT." So I think maybe we could play with that affinity a little bit, the wide-eyed n00b realizing grizzled legend guy was also... the wide-eyed n00b.
